We hope you are all busy with holiday sales and holiday plans.  Be sure to tag us at @siba_books when you post what your stores are doing. Not only so we can share what’s happening with our member stores but also because we really just like to see what’s going on with each of you! 

We also want to remind you that SIBA’s office will be closed from December 25 to January 1, so responses to queries may be delayed. Here are some of the most important things from last week’s newsletter we want to make sure you don’t miss:

• You can find the schedule and detailed list of store presentations for the March Madness 2025 Bookseller Series. Every bookstore has something they feel they do exceptionally well. These presentations are where hosting bookstores share their expertise with their colleagues.  Find out more and register here. 

• The Read This Next! January list is out. These are the books coming out next month that SIBA booksellers are really excited about.  Find resources here: Edelweiss Collection | Flyer | Flyer Graphic.  And read the SIBA Bookseller reviews. 

• SIBA is looking for booksellers to be Influencers for 2025. Influencers give SIBA feedback on emerging ideas and ongoing projects. Your participation as we create and evolve our programming is invaluable.  Email lindamarie@sibaweb.com by December 23 to participate (booksellers only, one bookseller per store please!).
