Dearest SIBA booksellers,

SIBA is looking for eager and enthusiastic booksellers to be judges in the Pat Conroy Southern Book Prize (formerly known as the SIBA Book Award). As a judge, you will read and rate the finalists in one of the Prize categories:

The Great Santini Fiction Prize
The Prince of Tides Literary Prize 
Beach Music Mystery Prize
Lords of Discipline Thriller Prize 
The Death of Santini Nonfiction Prize
The Water is Wide History & Life Stories Prize 
The Pat Conroy Cookbook Prize 
Poppy's Pants, Jr. Youngsters Prize (Ages 0-9)
Poppy's Pants Young Adult Prize (Ages 10+)

You'll send your ratings to SIBA, who will tally them to determine the winners in each category.  Your ratings are kept anonymous, but any feedback or comments you submit for any of the books may be used, with your permission, in promoting the winners and the finalists.

Any bookseller who is an owner or staff at a SIBA member store can be a judge. And SIBA will award 10 B3! points to the bookstore for each judge. So get your staff involved!

Judges will be sent copies of the finalist books in their categories (4-5 titles), and will have until June 15 to read and send SIBA their ratings.
